Refund policy

BNO Audio sells digital audio plugins. There is nothing to ship back and nothing to repackage, so our refund policy is simple: if the product is not for you, tell us within 14 days and we will refund you.

14 day refund

You can request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase date, for any reason or for no reason at all.

This applies:

To every product we sell, including individual plugins and the Legacy Bundle.
Whether or not you have downloaded the plugin.
Whether or not you have installed the plugin.
Whether or not you have activated your license.
Anywhere in the world.

You do not need to justify your decision. "It did not fit my workflow" is a complete answer.

How to request a refund

Email support@bno.audio from the address you used at checkout, and include your order number. We aim to respond within 48 hours.

If you prefer, you can use the model withdrawal form at the bottom of this page, but you are not required to. A plain email is enough.

What happens after you request a refund

We confirm your request by email.
We revoke the license or licenses covered by the refund. The plugin will stop working and will revert to demo mode on your next license check.
We refund the full purchase price to the original payment method.
You must delete all copies of the refunded software from your devices and from any backups under your control.

We process refunds without undue delay and in any case within 14 days of the day we are informed of your decision. The refund is issued using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, and you will not be charged any fee for the refund.

Bundles

The Legacy Bundle is refunded as a single product. We do not refund individual plugins out of a bundle. If you request a refund for the bundle within the 14 day window, all licenses included in that bundle are revoked and the full bundle price is refunded.

After 14 days

After 14 days from your purchase date, sales are final and we no longer offer refunds as a matter of policy.

This does not affect your statutory rights. If the software does not conform to what was advertised, if it is faulty, or if it does not work as described, you retain your legal remedies under applicable consumer law, including the right to have the problem fixed or to receive a refund. Contact us and we will make it right.

Before you buy

Every BNO Audio plugin runs in full demo mode without a license. The demo lets you evaluate the complete sound and interface. We strongly encourage you to try the demo in your DAW before purchasing, so that you can confirm compatibility with your system and your workflow.

Check the system requirements on the product page. We support VST3 and AU on macOS, and VST3 on Windows. We cannot guarantee compatibility with every host or every operating system version.

Chargebacks

If you have a problem with an order, please contact us first. We would much rather refund you directly than deal with a chargeback. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in your licenses being revoked and your account being blocked from future purchases.

Right of withdrawal (EU and EEA consumers)

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or the European Economic Area, you have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days from the conclusion of the contract for digital content supplied online.

BNO Audio does not ask you to waive this right at checkout. We honour the full 14 day withdrawal period regardless of whether the digital content has been downloaded or activated. Our refund policy above gives you the same 14 day window and the same outcome, so in practice you can simply email us.

If you withdraw from the contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw. Upon withdrawal, you must stop using the software and delete all copies in your possession, and we will revoke the associated licenses.
